Business Development Manager - Internal Communications & Project Management Firm
Location: Remote, Texas-based preferred (Austin or Houston)
Type: Part-Time (Contract)
Compensation: Hourly + Commission

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager who shares our vision and is eager to contribute to our growth. In this role, you will take full ownership of your work, driving new business opportunities and nurturing strong client relationships. As we continue to scale, you will play a crucial role in helping us expand our reach and impact. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in an independent, remote work environment, loves to take control of their own future, and when faced with challenges, figures out how to overcome them. If you don’t know how to do something, you’re the type to figure it out and make it happen. We expect you to break things and make them better, innovate processes, contribute meaningful ideas, and take accountability and ownership of your work.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospect and generate new business leads within target industries.
Conduct sales presentations and demonstrate the value of our internal communications and project management services.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and offering tailored solutions.
Collaborate with our internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and delivery of services to new clients.
Meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the firm.
Take full ownership of client accounts, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
Manage the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and satisfaction from the start.
Maintain regular communication with clients to assess their satisfaction and address any concerns.
Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services to existing clients.
Collaborate with internal team members to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in B2B large enterprise sales is a must.
Familiarity with marketing/CRM software such as Salesforce, Hubspot and/or MixMax.
Strong verbal + written communication and presentation skills.
Ability to understand client needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
Familiarity with internal communications, project management, or related fields is a plus.
